From standalone devices to one secure, managed setup

The challenge
The provider wanted to bring its standalone laptops and mobile phones into one centrally managed and protected setup. Its IONOS email and Microsoft 365 Business Standard licences were ready to move to a stronger platform that would simplify new-starter setup and give the business a clear device register.
What we did
- Planned and managed the full project, keeping staff informed throughout
- Moved the business's email from IONOS to Microsoft 365
- Upgraded every user to Microsoft 365 Business Premium, supplied by Brilit at a competitive price
- Brought around 56 devices — a laptop and a mobile phone for each member of staff — under central management
- Protected every device with Microsoft Defender
- Set up asset tracking for every device
The result
The move was completed smoothly and swiftly, with minimal downtime. Every device is now centrally protected and trackable, new staff are much easier to set up, and the team finds day-to-day work simpler to run.
